Course Description
Comprehensive
Literacy Symposium was designed to supply instructors for our
Comprehensive Literacy course. This is an intensive
training course that is held several times a year for
educators interested in facilitating future Comprehensive
Literacy courses through e-Literacy. In this four day
course participants are trained by Deonna Montei and Lynn
Mangold on how to teach the Comprehensive Literacy modules to
classroom teachers. Participants are also trained on how
to run a course and discussion board on Blackboard.com and
given all the materials necessary to lead their own
Comprehensive Literacy course. Facilitators are given
lesson plans and resources to present workshops on all of the
modules presented in Comprehensive Literacy.
