Educational Philosophy |
|
-
Learning to
read and write must involve a balanced approach.
Students will not benefit if they are taught only phonics or
only reading comprehension, instead they will succeed if they
are given a variety of tools to use when reading.
-
Education is a
continual process of teachers instructing and then releasing
responsibility of learning to the students. The
process of presenting materials to students and then gradually
allowing them ownership of learning is the cornerstone of
successful classrooms.
